Jane Moore is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience in family and children's services. Her career integrates direct clinical work, program development and management, training, and program evaluation in her primary fields of child welfare, substance abuse, and trauma.
Jane has managed program evaluation projects within the juvenile justice system and has assessed services for homeless children affected by domestic violence. As Coordinator of Parenting Services at the Institute for Health and Recovery, Jane directed the design and implementation of parent-child services in substance abuse treatment programs throughout Massachusetts. She was primary author of the Nurturing Program for Families in Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery, a program in use nationwide, which has been selected as a Promising Program by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Jane has also served as Adjunct Faculty at Salem State College School of Social Work and as Director of Program Implementation for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services.
